THE PHOTO-TO-PERFORMANCE LOOK

What is the Raindance AI video trend?

Raindance AI describes a creative video trend: a portrait becomes a music-video-style performance, often with warm sunset light, seaside scenery, and relaxed dance movement. The reference clip sets the choreography and framing; your photo supplies the character. Think of it as casting yourself in a short visual story.

For a Raindance AI look, choose a short clip with one clearly visible performer. A pier, a beach, or an outdoor golden-hour scene makes a useful starting point. Keep the first test simple: one subject, one shot, and a gentle camera move. You can build a longer edit from several finished clips.

Choose your Raindance AI workflow

Decide what you want to change before uploading. Each mode accepts one image and one video, but handles the scene differently.

01

Move · animate your photo

Use the performance clip to guide the character’s movement and expression. Pick this when your photo already has the setting and outfit you want. A full-body reference is useful for dance motion; a closer portrait suits a head-and-shoulders performance.

02

Replace · recast the performer

Use your character image to replace the person in a source clip. Choose this when the reference scene and camera framing are the starting point for your Raindance AI video. Review the result for changes to hands, clothing, and background details.

03

Face swap · change the face

Choose the face-swap mode when you want to change a visible face while using the existing performance, body, and outfit. The studio includes target-face controls for clips with multiple faces. A clear portrait and an unobstructed face in the video help.

04

Video edit · direct a scene change

Use a written instruction and an image reference for broader appearance edits. This mode accepts 3–10 second clips with both dimensions between 700 and 3840 pixels. It can redraw scene details and motion; it is not a frame-accurate replacement workflow.

Prepare a stronger Raindance AI reference

A photo that reads clearly

Use one character with a visible face, natural light, and a clean outline. Match the crop to the performance: full body for dancing, upper body for gestures. Avoid heavy filters, covered faces, or a tiny subject in a busy frame.

A short, steady performance

Start with a 5-second clip to test your Raindance AI idea. Choose readable movement and a stable camera. Trim and frame the source before uploading; the studio does not automatically cut a long video into scenes.

Direction that stays focused

Describe one visual goal instead of several competing changes. For Move or Replace, try: “Relaxed shoulder movement, natural expression, warm sunset light.” The optional instruction is limited to 500 characters.

How to make a Raindance AI video

1

Upload your photo and clip

Sign in and add a JPG, PNG, or WebP image plus an MP4 reference video. Each file must be 10 MB or smaller. Use a photo and footage you have permission to edit.

2

Pick the workflow and review credits

Select Move or Replace for character animation, then choose 480p or 720p. Face swap and video edit have their own controls. The studio shows the credit charge after it reads your video duration.

3

Generate, review, and finish your edit

Submit your Raindance AI clip and check its progress in Recent animations. Review the face, hands, and scene before downloading. Add music in your editor or a social app’s sound library where you have permission to use it.

Plan your Raindance AI video credits

A 5-second Move or Replace clip costs 19 credits at 480p or 37 credits at 720p. Duration is rounded up to whole seconds with a 3-second billing minimum. Other modes use different rates; check the studio quote before generating.

Raindance AI questions, answered

Can I make a Raindance AI video with just one photo?

You need one character photo and one reference video in this studio. The clip supplies the movement and scene. There is no built-in Raindance performance template, so prepare your own short reference before uploading.

Which model creates the video?

Move and Replace use Wan 2.2 Animate through WaveSpeedAI. Face swap uses WaveSpeedAI Video Face Swap; video editing uses Kling O3 Standard Video Edit. Raindance AI is the creative workflow on this page, rather than a separate model option.

Can I make a two-person duet?

The studio accepts one character image per job. Replace does not provide two-photo role assignment. Face swap has target-face controls, but that is a different workflow from replacing two full characters in one duet.

Does the result include the Raindance song?

This page does not supply or license a song, and Move or Replace has no soundtrack control. Finish the audio in your editor or use a platform’s available licensed sound. This is an independent tool, with no artist or music-label affiliation.

What video length and resolution can I use?

Move and Replace accept MP4 references up to 30 seconds and offer 480p or 720p output. Face swap has no resolution selector. Video editing accepts 3–10 seconds with both input dimensions between 700 and 3840 pixels; its model sets the output size.

Is Raindance AI video generation free?

Generation requires sign-in and enough account credits for the selected workflow. The exact charge appears in the studio before submission. You can watch the examples without starting a paid generation.

What if a generation fails?

Jobs marked as failed use the site’s credit-refund handling. An unfinished job is not yet a failed job. Check Recent animations for the latest status and your updated credit balance; contact support if the status or balance needs investigation.

How can I improve my Raindance AI result?

Match the image and video camera angle, keep the face visible, and simplify fast movements or crowded scenes. Try a shorter reference first. Review every output: identity, lip movement, and fine details can vary, and exact song synchronization is not guaranteed.
